The only "book" you need.
I've been enjoying my time with starforged and it is a great solorpg. This reference guide is something I thorougly enjoy having as a physical book. The core rule book is great, but the pdf is hyperlinked and once you have a hang of the game, the reference quide is the only book you need. Having the guide pdf is good, but being able to splay its wirebound pages really lets the creativity fly.

I cant recommend this enough.
If you have the money to spend on a full set of physical books(includes pdfs), go for it. But If you want/need to cheap out a little, grab the pdf of the core and get the physical reference guide.
