“I’m getting a signal.” Dalil’s voice crackled over the com. “We’re close.” The navigator gazed into the darkness ahead, his face ghostly pale in the cold glow from the tabula in his hands.

Radwa nodded silently for her comrades to advance, approaching the strange ruins in the moonscape. The only sound they could hear was their own breathing through the air filters, and the soft crunch under their boots. The floodlights from the freighter Narzalus behind them cast long shadows of the trio.

“Something is wrong, boss.” The sharp voice of Jhara broke the silence. Her vulcan rifle hummed as the tall woman from Sadaal activated her weapon. Without turning, Radwa raised her hand to still her friend.

“Easy, Jha,” she whispered over the com.

The explorers shone their suit-mounted flashlights over the ruins. Alien signs were carved into the smooth dark surfaces. In the light, they seemed to be glowing.

Something slowly unraveled before them. A darkness rose from the surface of the dead moon, reaching towards the starry sky above them.

“Mercy of the Icons!” Radwa gasped, and felt a chill spread throughout her body.

A really amazing game

I love the setting of Coriolis, the people and lore for this game setting are really amazing to read. The game style itself is a little different than the normal ttrpg but once you get used to it it’s a really enjoyable gameplay and every time I’ve GMed everyone’s really enjoyed the story and character making process
Even if you don’t find a party to play with the story and lore is worth the read and money!

amazing game and setting, poor rules layout.

the setting is fantastic, finally a middle eastern setting that doesn't feel kitschy and doesn't rely on lazy stereotypes. even if you just want some good reading this book is recommended. but i'm sure after reading the setting you'll want to run a game or two. my only complaint is that all anyone ever wants to play is D n F'ing D. so it's hard to find players in Hamilton Ontario.

Perfection

I was one of the Kickstarter backers and got my rewards a while ago. The production quality of this book is of the highest caliber. It is well laid out along with being one of the most beautiful RPG books I have ever seen. Couldn't be happier with this product.

Form and Function Combined

I don't think I even need to mention that this book is gorgeous; I'm quickly discovering that Modiphius has the most beautiful roleplaying books on the market. The artwork is sumptuous, but never hinders the readability of the product. The writing is all excellent as well, not just readable but enjoyable. The setting is fascinating, and could easily be adapted to other flavors as well (I actually picked up Coriolis because I'd like to run some space wuxia). As for the rules, I like them: meaty enough to satisfy but not so crunchy as to get in the way of the narrative. Though I definitely intend to pick up more products in the line, this core rulebook can also stand just fine on its own, which is a nice consideration to the customer.
