The Hyperboreans left behind strange mystic living ruins. Their most elaborate ruins lay deep below the earth, but some fallen pieces have been unearthed or existed as gateways on the surface to allow them quick access to more extensive facilities below. At times reality seems to shift and warp in their vicinity, as failing ancient technologies cause space time anomalies that brave heroes can use to their advantage.
