Some foolish mortals feel compelled to visit the Dreamlands. There, under the dark radiance of the Black Sun, they are transformed, awakened to dark powers as their bodies and souls are warped beyond comprehension. Chosen by an Outer God, they serve a new master, some being brought into the embrace of the goddess Mormo, who sends them forth to aid her worshipers in their battles. No two are exactly alike, each bearing their own hideous marks of the goddess. While being monstrous and guided toward unfathomable goals, they do as bidden when commanded by the goddess’s servants.
