Anselm Badenhorst, codenamed Hydra is a young German émigré who seems the very Nazi ideal: tall, blonde, handsome and well-built. But he despises the Nazis with every fibre of his being, Black Sun most of all. Of course, that’s his human form: when Badenhorst undergoes severe stress, his body splits apart becoming a mass of whirling fleshy tentacles, with monstrous fanged mouths that seize and rip into his target.
Athena Blakeney codename Matron is a genial woman in her 70s, sensibly dressed and never without her accompanying handbag and hat. She has a keen investigative mind and preternatural powers of observation which make her an ideal sleuth. What she does not know is that an alien Scion of Yog-Sothoth has somehow bound itself to her and now uses its powers to commit misfortune and murder.
Claribelle codenamed Gremlin is a pretty porcelain mannequin dressed in white lace with realistic-looking blond hair. Age has not been kind to her: the porcelain has fractured somewhat, and a nasty crack mars her otherwise serene features. This is no child’s toy though, Claribelle is home to a malicious spirit which causes terror and destruction wherever it can.
