Syria, June 1941: your agents have just completed another mission and are looking forward to some well deserved R&R, but the machinations of the Secret War mean there is no rest for the wicked. They are quickly dispatched to Syria and there reassigned to Habforce, a newly created British army unit sent to battle local Iraqi forces. 

Soon they are traversing the sweltering desert, their ultimate objective the ancient city of Palmyra, and a rendezvous with a Black Sun expeditionary force who are seeking a mysterious artefact, thought to be sacred to the Dark Pharaoh. 

Yet their path to Palmyra is anything but straightforward and in between lie undead defenders, a Vichy fort of uncertain loyalty and myriad hazards which will test their ingenuity, diplomacy and combat skills.

But once they get to the storied ruins of the venerable city, fresh challenges await including a rampaging Mythos entity, summoned by the chaotic magic of the Black Sun, to be tamed. Finally, they face a deadly confrontation in a subterranean temple, where the relic of Nyarlathotep and its cursed guardians await. 

Will the agents conquer these many obstacles or plummet into an abyss from which they’ll never return?
