Modiphius dropped a ton of reveals for the new edition of Fallout: Wasteland Warfare and Fallout: Factions during the ‘State of the Wasteland’ live stream today. Grab a (Nuka) Cola, settle down, and get ready for a long one.
First Wave Of Miniatures For Fallout: Wasteland Warfare
The stream revealed the first wave of miniatures for Into the Wasteland. These include the models in the starter sets, individual resin and plastic sets, and take us all the way through to August next year.
Male Vault Dweller Heroes
Sculpt: Colin Greyson. Painter: Amy Snuggs, Callum France, Rosie Williams
This multipart plastic set offers loads of interchangeable armor and weapon options, specifically for hero characters leading your warbands. The Vault Dweller comes with unarmored, leather, metal, and combat armor options, as well as a deadly smorgasbord of ranged and melee weapons.
Female Vault Dweller Heroes
Sculpt: Colin Greyson. Painter: Amy Snuggs, Callum France, Rosie Williams
This is a female version of the male Vault Dweller hero plastic set, with the same range of armors available. They will, however, have some different weapon configurations, which will be confirmed closer to release. Stay tuned!
Dogmeat
Sculpt: Ben de Bosdari. Painter: Amy Snuggs
The preorder exclusive miniature for the Into the Wasteland Starter Set is a brand-new sculpt of Dogmeat, the best boy of the Wasteland. Preorder to ensure Dogmeat is ready to accompany you on your first journey through the campaign map!
Warbands Starter Set

With the Warbands Starter Set, players gather their own warband of Survivors or Super Mutants to explore the Wasteland. Chronicle their journey through a dynamic campaign of combat encounters and quests that reveal a unique story every single time. Every action, choice, and outcome of an encounter progresses the story of your warband and has a lasting impact on your hero, their companions, and followers.
Vault Dweller In T-45
Sculpt: Joana Abbott. Painter: Rosie Williams
This brand-new sculpt of Nate - one of the player character choices from Fallout 4 - has the war veteran wearing a power armor frame partially equipped with T-45 plating. Perfect for representing your first power armor find in the Wasteland. He’ll be available as a pre-assembled PVC figure in the Warband Starter Set or as resin separately.
The Ravager
Sculpt: Ben de Bosdari. Painter: Rosie Williams
This brand-new super mutant model is based on concept art from Fallout 4 and wields two powered, handheld lawnmower blades. This absolute unit is positively drenched in armor made from the motor and plating from that same lawnmower (he’s nothing if not efficient). The Ravager will be a Major Threat in the rulebook, a powerful enemy who comes with a full Boss Quest that lets you pursue them through a region as they terrorise nearby survivors. The Ravager will be available separately in resin, but also comes as a pre-assembled PVC model in the Warbands Starter Set.
The Mutt
Sculpt: José Luis Roig. Painter: Callum France
The Mutt is an armored mutant hound that accompanies The Ravager. This meat-seeking tank provides a uniquely sculpted model for the Super Mutant faction and will be available separately in resin or as a pre-assembled PVC in the Warbands Starter Set.
Radroaches
Sculpt: Ben de Bosdari. Painter: Rosie Williams
Resculpted from the larger bases, these radroaches will come as singular models on 30mm bases.
Radrats
Sculpt: Sean Bullough. Painter: Amy Snuggs
New creatures for this edition, Radrats will harangue you with their bitey fangs and little claws, so you have that to look forward to in your early combat encounters.
Mole Rats
Sculpt: Sean Bullough. Painter: Amy Snuggs
Mole rats have also been resculpted for 30mm bases.
Mole Rat Brood Mother
Sculpt: Sean Bullough. Painter: Callum France
Ah… the beauty of nature 🤢. Side note: the radrats, mole rats, and Brood Mother will be available together as a PVC Encounter Set or separately in resin!
…And So Much More
A heck of a lot more, in fact. We don’t have the pictures to show off quite yet, but take a look. The last one will surprise (some of) you!
-
Honey Beast: New to Wasteland Warfare, the Honey Beast - a huge lumbering mutated honey bee from Fallout 76 entirely unrelated to the Honey Monster - will be a new high-difficulty creature to encounter on your travels. The new Radroaches, Bloatflies, and the Honey Beast will be available together as a PVC Encounter Set as well as separately in resin.
-
Wolves: That’s right, we’re bringing a Fallout staple to the tabletop Wasteland! Wild encounters in the original Fallout, pets for Caesar’s Legion, and even found wandering Appalachia - this is the first time we’ve had wolves in our minis range, and with their own resin kit to boot! They’ll also come in a PVC Encounter Set with Radstags and a Yao Guai, if’n you prefer.
- Cazadors: Another Wasteland Warfare first with the bugs you love to hate! Cazadors are coming to plague your journey! Deadly and lightning-quick, these creatures are sure to make your loot runs A LIVING HELL. These bad boys are coming as two resin models in iconically frightful poses.
-
Giant Ants: Yet another Wasteland Warfare first! These huge soldier ants will be coming on 50mm bases and will undoubtedly prove to be formidable foes!
-
Male & Female Survivor Hero: Much like the Vault Dweller hero plastic kits, these plastic kits will allow you to build Survivor Heroes with multiple armor and weapon configurations, allowing you to build up to 3 versions of your hero as they level up and find new gear.
-
Feral Ghoul (Plastic): We’ll be releasing a multi-part plastic set of 12 Feral Ghouls, replacing the old resin set. It includes a bloated Glowing One, Reavers, Ghouls in a variety of outfits, and Withered Ghouls.
-
Deathclaw: A new, resculpted Deathclaw will be coming to the range in both resin and a PVC Encounter Set. Deathclaws will be a major threat on your campaign map. You’ll be rewarded well if you manage to take it down (good luck with that).
- The Master: Finally, after being teased way back in the First Edition, we can confirm we’ll be releasing the Master. The big bad end game boss of the original Fallout is getting a resculpt to bring him up to date with the same bold style we now sculpt in, and will be available in resin. The Master is - of course - the focus of a Boss Quest where you’ll face off against the Unity Super Mutants, track the Master to the Cathedral, and battle against him in his lair. You can even use your wits and rhetoric to get the upper hand, just like in the original video game!

Fallout: Factions Roadmap
Preview Rules
We know there have been some glaring omissions in the available factions for the fast-paced skirmish game, so this September, we’re releasing PDF preview rules for the Enclave, a Vault Dweller crew, the New California Republic, and Caesar’s Legion.
You will be able to use the resin kits for now; they’re not a perfect fit for the loadouts, but while the preview rules are out, you should still be able to field a decent crew in resin.
We’re also planning to launch a multi-part plastic core set for the Enclave and Vault Dwellers, much like we have for the core four factions at the moment, both coming in 2027.
Legends of the Wasteland Folio
A second crew folio will be published in 2027, similar in scope and content to the first. It will include subfactions focused around the classic Fallout video game titles, Hammer – a Super Mutant master – as a Wasteland Legend, a slew of other Legends, and even rules for creating your own Legends of the Wasteland!
New Starter Set
To round out a trilogy of Starter Sets, we are looking to the Battle for Hoover Dam, with plastic core sets of both the NCR and Caesar’s Legion planned. No date set just yet, but keep your eyes peeled for news in the near future!

Announcing The Wasteland Survival Guide Monthly Newsletter
To support both Fallout: Wasteland Warfare and Fallout: Factions, we’ll be releasing a monthly PDF of additional content focused on the releases for that month, including painting guides, terrain building guides, unique rules and profiles, and custom side quests.
In the first issue of our own Wasteland Survival Guide, due in September, we will preview the Enclave and Vault Dweller crew rules for Fallout: Factions, as well as a preview of the Legend of the Wasteland creation rules.
In October’s issue, we’ll preview the New California and Caesar’s Legion crew rules for Fallout: Factions, as well as all sorts of other content for new miniatures and Fallout: Wasteland Warfare gameplay.

Print-at-Home Fallout STLs, Anyone?
When it comes to Fallout: Wasteland Warfare miniatures, first edition sets will remain in stock for as long as we have stock, after which they will be replaced by a resculpted set or plastic kit (like the core sets, for example).
The first edition miniatures range will be made available on MyMiniFactory in a Tribes subscription, and individually in their regular catalogue. These miniatures will be supported for resin printing only, as our sculpting and drafting process doesn’t work for FDM printers.
As FDM printers develop, we’ll continue to look into the viability of supporting them, but at the moment, the quality is not good enough, and the cost to adapt our current STLs for FDM is not viable.
We’re working on a timeline for this and will let you know as soon as we lock it down tighter than a Vault-Tec vault. Sign up for Fallout: Wasteland Warfare news to stay up to date.
To support Fallout: Wasteland Warfare and provide thematic terrain for more factions in the future, we’ll be releasing more STL terrain packs on MyMiniFactory from Q2 2027. These new STL terrain packs will be designed for FDM printing, as we recognise it’s the most accessible and most readily available type of printing the community has. It’s also the cheapest solution for big projects.
We won’t be retrofitting old STL sets, I’m afraid, but some people have had success with the higher-end FDM printers with some additional support/set up they’ve done themselves.
That’s All, Folks!
That was a lot, right? Imagine writing it.
