"Ahh, there you are. I've been looking for you. Got something I'm supposed to deliver - your hands only."
Welcome back to the latest in the increasingly inaccurately named “regular” blog updates for The Elder Scrolls: Call to Arms. Lots of things to look at today.
Revised Rulebook

The revised rulebook is here! After several rounds of feedback and testing and no less than three draft versions, the physical copies of the Revised Rulebook, and the final PDF version, and the quick reference sheet, are now available.
The PDF and QRS can be downloaded from the TES:CTA download page here or from Drive Thru RPG as well.
Anyone with a copy of the physical rulebook is also entitled to a replacement copy of the physical rulebook, paying only postage for it. To request a copy of the updated rulebook you will need to complete the questionnaire at the link below, providing contact details and an email address, as well as submitting an image of you holding the current rulebook front cover. We don’t need a full body shot, just hands are fine, so we have enough to know you have an actual rulebook.
The physical rulebook itself is going to be listed on our webstore for £10/$12, but after submitting your details and image you will receive a voucher by email discounting the whole cost of the rulebook to zero, so you will need to only pay postage. Please make sure that the email you provide is valid and will accept emails from Modiphius. You can then apply the discount voucher to the revised rulebook. Note that the discount voucher is only valid to redeem the Revised Rulebook, so you can’t spend it on some nice figures or something.
The rulebook will go up on the webstores as soon as stock arrives in the US and is processed in, but we’ll start collecting details now and announce when it is available for fulfillment

Chapter 4 Card Pack and Bundles
The Chapter 4 Card Pack was so close. We delivered the print files to the printer and….it hit some snags. As a result, some additional design and layout work was required, which has hit the release schedule again. Assuming there are no further complications we should be looking at a street date in early May for the UK. As soon as the stock lands in the UK we’ll ship it out to the US, but it may not be shipping to US customers and retailers until perhaps June or July, depending on shipping times.
Chapter 4 - Rise of the Dragon Priests brings two brand new gameplay elements to Call to Arms - official Draugr as a Playable Faction rules and the Epic Creatures rules. With more cards than any of the previous packs, giant sized Epic Creatures cards and two new rules features, Chapter 4 is well worth the wait.
The Chapter 4 Card Pack is available to pre-order now (UK / US).
In addition, with the release of the card pack we will also be releasing our miniature bundles. As ever, these will be themed towards the different factions and include a bumper whole-chapter collectors deal too, with significant savings over buying the sets individually. Look for these to appear on the website soon.
MyMiniFactory FronTiers Campaigns
We recently completed our first The Elder Scrolls®: Call to Arms FronTiers campaign with an overwhelming response. We unlocked all the Milestones for the campaign meaning that all of the Chapter 1 miniatures were included as print at home STLs.
The Elder Scrolls: Call To Arms is the first licensed 3D print-at-home tabletop range and its success has proven the 3D print market has grown to become a significant opportunity for major brands. With the success of the initial trials, the entire four Chapters of the product line will be re-released as pre-supported STL print-at-home sets and print-on-demand through MyMiniFactory.com, look out for those in the future.
The range will continue to be supported in retail with the new Two Player Starter Set launched last year, alongside all of the best-selling physical sets from the entire four Chapters of releases. To further support the community, the core rulebook has been fully updated, streamlined and all the errata applied (see above!).
With the recent release of the Tales of Tamriel PDF, Modiphius has added settlement building and warband progression to the game.
The Future
So, what lies ahead in the mists of time for The Elder Scrolls? Chapter 5 - Forgotten and Forsaken will be arriving later this year in print-at-home STL format, in another FronTiers campaign. Forgotten and Forsaken focuses on two of the remaining factions within Skyrim, the Falmer and the Forsworn. We’ll also be providing unit cards to use these new models in a digital format, with more details to follow.
The Falmer are (spoilers) the degenerate remnants of the once proud Snow Elves. Forced into darkness an age ago, they are the blind and savage former shadows of themselves. They inhabit, or perhaps infest, the ruins of the Dwemer, the very beings who led to the downfall of the Snow Elves into the Falmer. Dangerous combatants, they wield deadly weapons, magic and poisons and have domesticated several loathsome cave creatures to serve them.

Alongside the Falmer are another savage faction - the Forsworn. The Reach was once populated by a race of humans who were very like the Bretons. Savage hillfolk, the Reachmen as they were known, were persecuted by the invading Nords. Centuries of struggle erupted into a savage war that only ended after Ulfrik Stormcloak recaptured The Reach in a campaign of violence and bloodshed. Now reduced to scattered bands of raiding parties, they make travel in The Reach hazardous. Allied with Hagravens, they wield primitive weapons and primal magics with equal prowess.

Besides these two factions, we’ve also got a few other denizens of Skyrim to add to the list, but more about them next time…
