January 2026 saw the retail release of The Norway Projekt hardback book, the 14th supplement for the Achtung! Cthulhu 2d20 line. With accessories, the quickstart, Free RPG Day releases, online releases, and PDFs, that brings us to over 50 products in the line.
These adventures, sourcebooks, setting guides, and supplements have taken adventurers and agents from the very early days of the war, through the deserts of North Africa to the icy wastes of Norway; through the intrigues of Europe under occupation, and deep into the mysteries of ancient Atlantis. Your characters have been part of pivotal events like the D-Day Landings and the ‘Battle of the Bulge’ in the Ardennes.
We are very proud of the products we have made and the stories we have told. We are equally proud of the work our writers, artists, and developers have all put into Achtung! Cthulhu, which was Modiphius’ first in-house brand and flagship of 2d20 Roleplaying development. It was also the first setting included in the World Builder’s Program, allowing our fans to write their own Secret War material to share as open gaming content.
We’ve reached a point in the Secret War storyline where we feel the Achtung! Cthulhu line is in a good place. We want to let the community take the next steps on the journey with the World Builders Program, which is currently getting reworked (more news soon). As part of this, we will make a big bundle of Achtung! Cthulhu artwork is available for World Builders creators to use in their new projects.
We think there’s still plenty of Secret War stories to keep you busy, but this does mean that all current Achtung! Cthulhu projects have been put on hiatus, like the Living Campaign. In those cases, all the artists and writers have been paid in full, and we may well return to them in the future. The Norway Projekt will be the last Achtung! Cthulhu product to be released by Modiphius in the current range.
This isn’t goodbye forever. In time, we’ll be reviewing the Achtung! Cthulhu line and exploring where we could go next, but for now, that is the Secret Wars team signing off.
Over and out, Agents.
