Modiphius Entertainment’s brand new miniature skirmish game, Fallout: Factions, is available for pre-order on Monday 5th February 2024, and is accompanied by a preview of the game with the quickstart guide: “Welcome to Nuka-World”.
Pre-orders for the Battle for Nuka-World two-player starter set go live on Monday 5th February and can be registered on www.falloutfactions.com. The two-player starter set contains everything players need to get started: two sets of multi-part hard plastic miniatures, as well as all the rules, dice, and tokens they need to get playing straight away. It also comes with slot-together terrain making it ideal for video game fans who have been wanting to take the plunge into tabletop wargaming!
Additionally, the Fallout: Factions - Welcome to Nuka-World quickstart guide is available to download as pre-orders go live, giving fans a glimpse at the new gameplay behind this exciting new skirmish game. The streamlined rules offer tabletop gamers a multitude of tactical possibilities. Designed to be suitable for leagues, tournaments, and casual pick-up games alike, Fallout: Factions has something for everyone regardless of their experience.
Based on Bethesda’s hugely successful Fallout® series, Fallout: Factions sees players assemble, paint, and battle with miniatures from one of the three raider gangs vying for control of Nuka-World: The Pack, the Operators, and the Disciples - all from Fallout 4’s popular final DLC.
Development on Fallout: Factions is led by veteran tabletop designer James Hewitt, whose credits include Games Workshop’s Necromunda and Adeptus Titanicus. James has brought everything he’s learned to bear on Fallout: Factions, ensuring it is fast, accessible, and filled with cinematic action and devilishly cunning strategies. Matches take place across a compact 24"x36" battlefield and last around 40 minutes once both players are familiar with the simple and intuitive gameplay.
Modiphius is no stranger to miniatures games in the Fallout universe, having published Fallout: Wasteland Warfare and an expansive miniatures line covering popular characters from throughout the Fallout franchise. Wasteland Warfare is a wide-ranging, narrative adventure wargame with a focus on player vs. environment, solo, and cooperative gameplay modes, evoking the detail of the videogame RPG. Fallout: Factions instead aims for fast, cinematic, and brutal PvP combat, but much like its sister title, Fallout: Factions has a strong narrative focus. Every match you play is linked together, telling the ongoing story of your crew as they expand, learn new tricks, and take over an ever-increasing slice of the park to become top dogs!
