Description

You’ve witnessed the Hidden World, how it touches the landscape and cities of the United Kingdom. Now it is time to plunge deep into the heart of London and explore its diverse culture and historical strangeness.

Within these pages, meet the hidden who dwell in London’s forgotten places; an ancient vampire, fae courts and ghost realms, a statuesque dragon, the pig-headed lady, and many more beings both malevolent and benign, all intertwined with everyday people and places. But no matter what you do, do not breach the Pax Londinium over the Thames.

Pax Londinium

This was the first supplement I purchased and was keen to see the specifics of this treaty between the Liminals residing within the northern and southern districts bordering the River Thames that were alluded to in the core rule book. again, I was impressed, as whilst a much smaller page count, the editing in view of the space restrictions I think is just right.

The focus here is on the interactions between the core factions who between them try to maintain an uneasy peace between the various interests so it should come as no surprise that the Council of Merlin, the Mercury Collegium and P Division have a place in the mix. The artwork and the maps are all superb and bring the stories that can be told to life.

Eight chapters focus on London, the Fey presence within the capital, some new factions like the Knowledge (possibly my favourite), some mythic residents like the Chelsea Smilers, a little history of the capital's murkier past, possible tie-ins to other countries of the world, prominent Liminal locations like Ahmed's VHS Wonderland, a sample crew and finally, some new rules.

A great addition for me.
